The International Builders Show (IBS) saw one of the largest turnouts in recent years boasting over 85,000 attendees and DMG Design+Build was in that number representing the New Orleans market.

Educational opportunities seemed endless. With over 150 educational sessions it was a daunting task just trying to decide which sessions to attend. Some of the most notable included Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and Designing World Class House Plans.  Educational opportunities weren’t just relegated to the classroom though. DMG Design+Build was also able to attend live demos on topics such as Advanced Framing, High performance Roofs and Meeting the Challenge of High Performance Remodeling.

More than 1500 manufacturers and suppliers spanned over 583,000 square feet of exhibit space representing products ranging from fasteners to finishes, foundation to roof and everything in between.

Guest speakers included entrepreneur and branding expert Daymond John (as seen on Shark Tank), four time Super Bowl winner and TV sports analyst Terry Bradshaw and the Scott brothers also known as Property Brothers. These stars and more brought an element of excitement to many areas of the show.

As part of Design and Construction week DMG Design+Build was also able to attend the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) which is an inspiring and interactive platform that showcases the latest product innovations and trends from leading kitchen and bath brands. DMG Design+Build is known in the New Orleans and Metro areas as a cutting edge Design Build General Contractor and IBS and KBIS are just two of many ways we continue to sharpen our skills in areas such as communication, cleanliness, product knowledge and delivery of a quality project boasting craftsmanship any client will be proud of.
