Q: What is the difference between Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build?

A: Design-Bid-Build is when you hire an architect, a designer, and a builder separately. You acquire the design, then bid it out to contractors, then have the project built. Since none of the firms you hire have any interaction, the Design-Bid-Build process can be time-consuming, costly, and produce an underwhelming result.

Design-Build is when ONE firm handles everything—the blueprints, design, and construction. The different teams take a collaborative, synergistic approach to your project right from the start. This eliminates the unnecessary delays, costs, and change orders that hiring separate firms produces.

A: Residential remodels start at $100,000. New home construction starts at $250,000. Commercial remodels start at $200,000.

Q: Can you work with remodeling budgets under $100,000?

A: Unfortunately, no. To provide the extraordinary quality our clients expect and deserve, we utilize premium materials and craftsmanship only. 

Q: Does this mean you’re more expensive than other remodelers?

A: Not always. We’re definitely a bigger investment than the budget-level remodelers that rush the job and produce substandard quality. Compared to Design-Bid-Build, though, our prices are typically similar or LOWER. That’s because our process minimizes the chance of costly change orders and unnecessary spending.

Q: Do you offer a warranty?

A: Yes. We offer a full one-year warranty on our remodel work. If you experience an issue due to our services, we fix it. It’s that simple.

The state of Louisiana doesn’t require remodelers to offer a warranty. As a result, most remodelers don’t have one. We do because we feel strongly about the quality we deliver.

All new home construction in the state of Louisiana is required to be warranted. You can see the details of the Louisiana New Home Warranty Act on the state’s website.
